Olga Koelsch is a watercolour artist, educator and author known for her signature style, which captures the delicate transparency and vibrant essence of flowers. She bridges the two worlds of botanical illustration and modern loose watercolour painting. Her book, “How to Paint Watercolour Transparent Flowers,” has inspired countless readers to explore the beauty of watercolour floral painting.

After 38 years in healthcare and 2 years as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist in western Washington, Nina retired in 2021 and moved with her husband to Spokane. Although art has been a part of Nina’s life since childhood, it was not until she relocated that she was able to spend more time painting subjects in eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Nina’s education includes a BS in Physiotherapy, an MEd. in Education, and an MS in Engineering. She has also held a Seattle Boiler Engineer’s license, Shipyard Competent certification and a Designated Engineer position.

A painter specializing in watercolours, Aurélie Ponthieu mainly paints landscapes, architecture, still lifes and anything related to mythology. She also does simpler illustrations with markers, mainly in black and white. In her watercolours and illustrations, Aurélie tries to bring out the beauty and magic of a place while keeping a very realistic style. In her work she likes to give the illusion of gold, of materials in general! The most important thing for her in a painting is the light, the contrasts and the colours.

Chuck Middlekauff has been a full-time professional gallery artist since 1992. He paints to share his vision of the America he grew up with as a kid through the 50s and 60s and the America he has experienced since then.
